     "I was happy to accept because of the upside potential. The firm is introducing 'disruptive technology' within their space, my rolodex is rich with potential customers, and I am unencumbered with admin/back office/channel development responsibilities.

     "All this and they met my minimums of $100,000 base. The company is ripe for being purchased and I will receive 50,000 options at .25 cents. I had to overcome the perception of being an institutional executive vs. an entrepreneur comfortable with startup mode, and I did.

Then I provided the interview resume which led to the initial meeting, then another where I gave a presentation of 'My first 60 days as a Director of Business Development.'
